A boy sets off with his flute and his stuffed bear and a rum-pum-pum. As they make their way through the town and the woods, they ask, “Wanna come?” Soon, kids and creatures join in the fun one by one, playing instruments, singing, and dancing to the catchy tune.

But will a storm bring their fun-filled musical parade to an end?

My little one loves this book. Whenever we go on our own walking adventures we recite the books. Great for language development

The 2nd time we read this book, Bo answered "yes" every time the story said, "Wanna come?" because he wanted to join the parade!. By the 3rd reading he was finishing some of the rhymes, and then we both had the rhyme in our heads (I was waking up with it!). It was a library book that now is ordered for his upcoming Birthday! And grammy looks forward to reading it more to him! We read it in rhythm with the rhymes. Very catchy!

A small boy and his teddy venture out from their bed with a 'rum-pum-pum. HERE WE COME! One by one other animals and children join in the nighttime parade with their own marching rhymes, until...'drippity-drip...' comes the rain. And 'BOOM-BOOM-RUM-PUM!' comes the thunder! Then… ‘Home we come!’ as they race back to the beginning.
A rhythmic and rhyming picture book with beautiful, soft illustrations that match the nighttime tone. Just how many sound-words can you rhyme with pum? Find out here and join the fun!

Janna's fun and masterful rhyme invite the reader to come along on a lovely, fun moonlight romp ending in a tea party before bed -- an imaginative journey of music, rhyme, rhythm, and fun! A wonderful addition to a preschool music program and early elementary, a wonderful addition to a home library, and more. It's a magical romp -- wanna come?

This is such fun to read aloud, and the pictures are beautiful. I can imagine impromptu parades around the house after little ones have had this read to them!
