Diana Day-Admire in Independence, Missouri with her wife, Patti and two cats. She enjoys going with her mom to the local Red Hatters events, and visiting her father in Lawrence Kansas, in what free time she has.

Diana Day-Admire has been featured in the anthology KANSAS CITY STORY and co-authored with Lyn Cole HOLIDAY HEARTS. While this book dealt with several extremely heavy topics, the author handled them with realism, grace, and often, humor. At several points, I wanted to yell at the main character for allowing people who "loved" her to hurt her over and over, but in the end I was glad to see her find herself and her own joy without it being dependent on someone else.

Everytime I think I know where this is going, it gives me another surprise. Halfway through and the possibilities are endless. This has been an eye opening story sharing a lot of new life experiences. It's been a great way to gain perspectives about many different kinds of relationships. This is certainly an LGBT+ romance, but it touches on a lot of important universal relationship concepts. Can't wait to find out what the last half has in store.

Once into this book it was hard to put down. I wish there had been a sooner introduction to the different personalities. It's very hard to imagine how difficult it would be to actually live & love a person with this diagnosis.
