What a beautiful book. Drafted details are typically (and ironically) lacking in architectural detail books. Not in this one. It has both beautiful photography and beautiful, descriptive drafted details. It's a keeper.

It's A #$#%^ picture book!

Worthless waste of paper. Nothing more than a picture book filled with the most ugly box furniture I have ever seen. There is nothing in this book that will help anyone on gawds green earth to build solid wood cabinets. It's more of bragg book of big fat hairy butt ugly boxy cabinet designs that have been done, redone, overly done and then done again (eyes rolling) There is nothing new, innovative or useful here, not even a single decent idea to expand upon. I keep going thru the book trying to find something good. It reminds me of the furniture you found in those corner furniture shops that opened up out of closed gas stations all over the country back in the '60's selling cheap box furniture and overstuffed couches. Page after page of ugly boxy cabinets and furniture. Let me put it this way. If even one piece of furniture in that book was on the cover, any piece. Not a soul would have bought the book. The fact the cover leads you to believe there would be instruction on more of the same is a misrepresentation of the content.

No bad news on this book, it just did not serve the purpose I wanted it for. We need to build a cabinet in the kitchen like a small pantry. this book did not satisfy that need.
