I'm a recent fan of Ms. Foster. In the past few months I've read as many books as I can locate, even the ones she's written with other authors. I came to Ms. Foster's writting through the Visitation series, my first being when Bruce Met Cyn. I so got into the characters that I went online to get the rest of the series.

In researching Ms. Foster's other books, I came across Too Much Temptation. I fell in love with Noah and Grace and also brother Ben and Aunt Agatha. Noah and Grace's relationship is built on respect, friendship, and similar background that leads to lust, passion, and love. Though Noah is a "street rat" when it comes to sex, as he tells Grace, "he doesn't play nice when it comes to sex"; Grace doesn't care.

Even though Noah will be Grace's first and as it turns out her only lover, she's more than willing to do whatever Noah wants in the bedroom. Grace is a sweet and loyal partner and truly loves Noah from the very start. However, Grace thinks she's "fat" even though she's just built like a goddess accordng to Noah, so at 25 she's never really dated and doesn't think men would be interested in her, especially great looking ones like Noah and Ben.

Noah grew up in the streets until his rich Grandmother found him at 16. He feels that he owes something to Agatha so at the start of the book, he's engaged to Kara, a rich daughter of one of Agatha's best friends. However, in the first chapter, Kara is caught in the arms of her lover, and Noah breaks off the engagement. This angers Agatha because Noah won't say why he's broken off his relationship with Kara, and she's not saying anything, allowing Noah to take the heat.

The break-up of his relationship with Kara, and Graces fierce defense of Noah create the catalysis for Noah and Grace to get together. This is truly one of the sweetest stories wrapped around very hot relationship that Grace and Noah share that I've had the pleasure to read.

The first of the three Temptation stories, and one of my favorites by Foster.

There are no plot surprises here; this one is all about the characters, especially the heroine. I LOVE Grace! She has a poor self image - for which I usually have no patience in my fiction - but she is a happy person, who generally enjoys life. And she is having the time of hers, with the hero and their red hot affair. Every scene between the two is a delight.

There is a strong cast of secondary characters, and plenty of brother Ben, who stars in the next book of the series. And the author has managed to make all of them likeable, in spite of themselves. For instance, in the words of another character, Kara is spoiled, selfish and weak. And yet, you still don't hate her. The same could be said for domineering Agatha and overblown Enrique.

In the mood for light and FUN? Try this one.

For months I seriously debating on buying this book because the reviews were such a mix from very good to very bad. But I found it used and it was a good decision. Grace was loyal, protective, bright and a good friend. Her only problem was she was ashamed of her appearance. She had spent her whole life being teased and humilitated in regards to her weight. She had no self confidence and dressed and conducted herself to be as inconspicous as possible. She never realized that she had morphed from an overweight child to a voluptous woman.
Noah's grandmother found him living on the streets 16 years ago. He had since followed a plan he believed would please her and ensure his own security. The right clothes, the right car, the right fiance. After catching his fiance "in the act" he really consciously noticed Grace for the first time. He became involved in an affair with her and realized what a truly beautiful person she was, on the inside and out.
Due to Noah's attention and praise Grace acquired a self-confidence, sensuality and "glow". It's said that Marilyn Monroe could walk down a New York City street in very plain clothes, scarf, sunglasses,head down and no confidence in her stride. But when her head came up, sunglasses came off and she turned on "Marilyn" she would stop traffic. It's this sort of transormation that made everyone suddenly notice Grace and made Noah realize the woman he'd wanted all along.

If you like hot and steamy, you'll enjoy this old book by Lori Foster. In between the exploration of each other there's a bit of family angst and business stuff happening. A quick read, but obviously not a recent book as she's come a lot ng way in her writing style.

This book was a bit different from the other books I've read by Lori Foster but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Noah was raised in foster homes until he found he had a wealthy grandmother. Agatha's son sired two illegitimate sons by different mothers. She took Noah in and taught him how to be successful. Combined with his own talents he was unstoppable. Unfortunately Agatha likes to run people's lives. Noah finds himself engaged to Kara but that ends when he finds her with another man. Grace is his grandmother's assistant. She's been in love with Noah for ages. They end up together and start off as sex buddies but it turns into so much more. Humor and love make a great story.

I love the characters in this book. Noah is bossy but Grace only tolerates that in the bedroom. Grace has curves and is feisty. Fiercely loyal with a strong head on her shoulders, she's a perfect match for domineering Noah. One of the things I love about this book is that the love scenes are character driven and HOT. Sometimes when authors churn out a lot of books it can get to be predictable and "by the numbers". Noah loves Grace's curves and punishes in a sweet way her when she puts herself down. I've read this book so many times. When I finally decided to buy a Kindle, it was one of the first books I put on the list to buy in digital format.
