Satan and his minions have declared war on the most beautiful planet in the universe his purpose is to depose Michael the archangel and become second only to God in command of all creation. Standing in Satan's way are a scattered and disorganized host of angels, a group of inexperienced saints, a small band of humans, and some angelic rebels in Hell. Armed with faith full power, Abaddon the Destroyer creates a formidable army to challenge the evil targeting Earth. Author of best selling Heaven and Hell, Kenneth Zeigler again draws from his research to create a realistic tale where science, the supernatural, and life and death teeter on the edge of eternal joy or damnation.

Wow! This book was awesome! I really enjoyed the War In Heaven more than Heaven and Hell. I felt the narrator's (author's) voice was more neutral and did a better job of just telling the story and not sounding like a missing character in the book. There was much less outdated slang and terminology and just in general sounded like a more modern book.

I am really impressed, as I said in the first book's review, with the author's intelligence and knowledge. You definitely can tell he is a Physicist and I love how he has so grandly tied that into this story. The story itself, is totally unique & very enthralling. I've read a lot of supernatural novels about spiritual warfare, Heaven, Hell, etc. But I've never read one that imagines some inhabitants of Hell who have repented once they realized their mistake (although too late to spend eternity with God), being saved by some renegade (and also repentant) fallen angels to create an uprising to overthrow Satan in Hell. And then the whole war in Heaven was crazy! This book is definitely deserving of my 5 star review! Picante wait for the next book!

This is a MUST read. If you have read the first book you must read this one. Moving, exciting, emotional roller coaster. As soon as I took this out of my mailbox I sat and read for over an hour. The battle continues into Heaven. Lucifer and his hatred for humans continue in this story. I felt as if I was standing in the middle of this war. I do suggest reading the first book though. For those of you who have read it, you will be hanging on the side of your seat with the last chapter of this book. For me the Spiritual cliff hanger has me wanting more! Please consider this on your must read Christian books. I just pray this author releases another book soon!!!!

This story line keeps you thinking and wanting more. It holds your interest, and the author describes everything so well that I felt like i was watching this unfold.

This is part two of Zeigler's series. It is an imaginative stretch that challenges the reader who is familiar with Scripture, as it must. Scripture tells us that eyes have not seen nor the mind of man conceived what God has planned for us in heaven. So we know with certainty that whatever we can conjure up in anticipation will come up short. Still, part of our hope is reflecting on what might be. This is why I can enjoy fiction that builds on doses of doctrinal truth yet does not impinge upon it. If you want the Word, read the Bible. If you want some innocent recreation that gets your imagination flowing, read this series.

Kenneth Zeigler is a wonderful writer and the means he puts the scripture to the story plot just keeps you captured into seeking more understanding about our Lord. He causes you to see a new dimension into the love of Christ and we as Christians can become complacent. We need to be consistent in our walk because satan certainly is and time is of the essence! An absolutely must read. This book will open your eyes and heart to see our walk differently. Simply an awesome book.

I really have enjoyed reading this series. Zeigler has a very unique style of writing that has managed to keep me captivated in the story. One thing I recommend to future readers is to keep in mind it WAS written as a fiction novel. There are no claims made that this is or is to be a factual account. I say this as there are some things in the story that are very far fetched.... but it is a story; and, a very good one at that. Enjoy the entire series! I insist!

A very enjoyable read. Although if you looking for scripture based read this is not quite it. Entertainment certainly thought provoking.

I liked the first book a little better, but this is right there with it. It is really life changing. I have changed my life, and have started reading my Bible again. The author has a great imagination, and the action really keeps you reading. I am going to immediately download the next book and start reading it as well. God is working through this author, and I am thankful I came across this book series.

In many ways this second book in the Tears in Heaven series is better than the first. Mainly because you already know the key characters from the first book and it means the book grabs you very early on. Has a fictional novel it's very good, entertaining and well worth a read. I wasn't all that sure with the way the book protrayed the war in heaven. There were times when it felt more like a human war. But that said it's well worth reading.

If you love Jesus may I recommend that you do NOT read any of the books in this series, I read the first one, forcing myself at times and felt utterly filthy at the end of it. I started the second just in case and it was disgusting and totally unscriptural.
